A shooter game with an air hockey theme
Hockey Crossfire is a game for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch that puts a little bit of a twist on the traditional shooter games by giving you an ice hockey setting in which to play.
If you're an avid ice hockey fan, you're going to want to get your hands on just about every hockey-themed game out there. Hockey Crossfire is a good one to give a go too due to its challenging nature and addictive values.
Much like Touch Hockey and Glow Hockey, Hockey Crossfire is set in an ice rink. Instead of simulating a hockey game though, Hockey Crossfire is a shooter game in the most traditional sense of the genre.
The primary object of Hockey Crossfire is to aim your hockey stick-shaped shooter at rubber rings that appear on the ice, shoot a puck at them and get them into your opponent's hockey net. This might be easy if not for the opponent hockey players trying to get the same rubber rings into your goal at the same time!
The only real complaint users might have with Hockey Crossfire is that it's a little difficult to use the in game controls without shooting pucks every which way, which can get annoying in short order. The soundtrack's also a little redundant if you want to play for any length of time.
Hockey Crossfire is a fun hockey-themed shooter game that lovers of the sport or shooter games in general can add to their iPhone app collections.
